Sponsorship

The majority of children living in the NCWC are financially supported by a foreign sponsor. Sponsorship covers accommodation, education, food, clothing, care and medical care costs. Sponsorship truly does enable an underpriviliged child to have a more auspicious future.

The NCWC is currently enrolled in 2 different sponsorship programmes:

1) Sponsoring a child within the NCWC:
A child can be accommodated in the orphanage and be sent to private school for as little as 200 Euro a year from the beginning of the sponsorship until grade 8. A child can then continue and complete their education for 250 Euro a year from grade 9-12.

2) Sponsoring the education of a child outside the Nepalaya Children welfare Centre.
The education of a child can be financed by as little as 80 Euro from the beginning of the sponsorship until grade 8 and 100 Euro from grade 9-12. The child continues living with his/her family, who cannot afford to send their child to school. The NCWC monitors the child’s development and makes sure that the money is used to support his/her education.

If you decide to sponsor a child, you giving him/her a chance for a brighter, more hopeful future. Furthermore, you create a tie to Nepal, and are always welcome to visit your sponsor child and stay at the orphanage. A wonderful way to experience life in Nepal.
